Fact-finding commissions reports, 1941-1945.

Reports of fact-finding commissions appointed by the governor to look into strike notices submitted to the bureau. The commissions held hearings to gather facts in each case, then submitted the reports, which most often contained a history of the dispute, the commission's opinions and recommendations on specific issues of the case, and a final statement on whether a strike would be justified. These records were actually created under the Division of Conciliation, predecessor of the Mediation Services Bureau.
